Marketing: Stepping Out of the BoxSanviki Chapman is the Creative Director of Another Way Enterprises, (AWE), an innovative marketing, advertising, production and consulting company, and incidentally, the creative force behind the naming of Canvas Paper and Stone. Sanviki refers to herself as an "intuitive strategist," and anyone who has ever worked with her will tell you she's passionate about proving the effectiveness of using intuition and thinking out of the box in her marketing-mix. Sanviki states, "It is a joy and blessing to watch clients' apprehensiveness and fears diminish, resulting from the effectiveness and success of AWE's unique approach to meeting their specific needs. Once clients understand, that greatest and success are inherently connected to stepping beyond ones comfort zone, they usually commit to trusting a new approach, thereafter, we become a team. Eventually, clients sanction the fact that AWE's work is rooted in strategic- risk-taking oppose to playing it safe. The bonds grow even stronger when clients understands that AWE"s marketing methods and strategies are also rooted in getting successful results; by bringing to the table over 30 years of business experience, which has fine-tuned my abilities to know how and when to stretch the creative parameters; and when and how to use AWE's unique platform of marketing skills, properly combined with intuition and risk taking to ultimately achieve the results clients desire." Sanviki doesn't just ask her clients to take risks; she's setting an example. In fact, she's been shifting a large percentage of AWE's focus and time on servicing companies and individuals whose projects are affecting positive ecological and/or social change, oppose to "winning over more corporate accounts." Last year proved to be a remarkable success in this area for AWE. In December 2007, Sanviki worked with Canvas, Paper and Stone, a New York City contemporary art gallery, providing them with various innovative marketing and advertising strategies for their annual exhibition on "World Peace." Last Spring, Sanviki teamed up with Alton Fitzgerald White, the renown Broadway Actor and Singer, known for his leading roles in The Lion Kings and Oprah Winfrey's, The Color Purple. AWE played a major role in the success of Alton's fund raiser for The Actors Fund, a nonprofit human services organization, providing supportive services to actors and others in need of support. In November 2007, AWE marketed and produced, Composer and Singer, (or as Sanviki would say, "Songstress & Healer"), Chanda Rule's Brooklyn Academy of Music - BAM café concert, which resulted in the "most attended BAM café event of the year", as well as the "top selling CD event at the BAM café." Presently, AWE is working with Agustina Martinez Alcorta, the South American Designer and Owner of Ama Hand Made. Sanviki is helping the company shift its direction towards designing and marketing more "sustainable/earth friendly fashions," made from organic cottons. Also, AWE and Artistic Activist, Sculptor and Painter, Linda Vauters, (represented by AWE) have teamed up to open two exhibitions at Eddie Berman Studios - in Stanford Connecticut: In May 1st, 2008, a one day exhibition, featuring limited editions of Vauters' paintings and sculptures; In Feb. 2009, a mix-media installation featuring artifacts, paintings and sculptures by Vauters accompanied by live music and dance - produced and directed by Sanviki. Sanviki earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, (cum laude) in Music and Theatre Arts (and minor in Marketing), and a Master Degree, in Counseling and Education from Long Island University. Her work with Educator's for Social Responsibility lead her to receiving her New York State Certification in Conflict Resolution. In l995, she received a Certification in Ministry and Spiritual Counseling from the New Seminary. Her education business and life-experience supports her "passionate desire for discovering ways of merging innovation, creativity, business and empowerment into acts of oneness." Sanviki believes it is possible to create and produce extraordinary profitable commercial works without compromising their esthetic values or bringing any harm and suffering to others and the planet." It was this belief that inspired her to create Another Way Enterprises, which "stands upon the principle of creating a new paradigm in business; believing that business and art can go far beyond the concepts of profit making and entertainment; they can be direct sources of healing to the planet." She coined the concept, "meta-producing™".
